Sliding Fee Discount Program
At Wilmington Community Clinic, everyone can get care, whether or not you have insurance and whatever you can afford. If cost is a concern, our Sliding Fee Discount Program can lower what you pay.
Who can get a discount?
The discount is based on your household size and income. Patients with household income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines may qualify. Patients at the lowest income levels pay only a small fee per visit. You may qualify even if you have insurance.
What does it cover?
The discount applies to the medical, dental, and behavioral health services we provide. Our staff will tell you your cost before your visit.
How to apply
- Ask our front desk or call us at 310-549-5760.
- Fill out a short application about the people in your household and your income.
- Bring proof of income if you have it, such as pay stubs, a tax return, an employer letter, or a benefits letter. If you don’t have proof, you can sign a form stating your income.
- We do not ask for proof of immigration status.
- Your discount lasts 12 months. Tell us if your income or household changes.
No one is turned away
No one is denied care because they cannot pay. If you are worried about a bill, talk to us. We can set up a payment plan or review other help.
We also help with coverage
Our enrollment team can check whether you qualify for Medi-Cal, Covered California, or other programs, at no cost.
